Friends asking for tech support?
Friends and family that know I work at Microsoft they often ask for computer advice. There’s a handy article on the Microsoft At Home site that give simple instructions for extending the range and the strength of your wireless network. This is the kind of things people ask me all the time so it’s nice to have some place to point them. Next time someone asks you how to do something with a computer, check Microsoft at Home or Microsoft at Work. Someone has probably already written an article for you. Some articles I’ve shared with friends and family:
• Upgrading your PC? Protect and purge your personal files
• 4 ways Windows Live improves your online experience
• Use instant messaging and video to stay in touch
• Do a clean sweep of your computer
• Optimize your computer for peak performance
• Put your PC maintenance routine on autopilot
