Week 3 of my Journey with OCS and Communicator 2007

I blogged about my experiences of not using a phone a couple of weeks ago and so I thought I would update you on what I have been doing since.

Well the experience is just as good as ever - I personally have had a no problems, all the calls I make are of perfect call quality.

Some callers have suggested that the call quality is not great their end, to be honest this is a tiny fraction of the people that I make calls to. 

To see if there is any rhyme or reason to this I have tested by calling my home number and getting someone to answer and for them to give an honest appraisal of the quality of the call. To begin with the answers I got were not the glowing references that I had hoped for. But this has got better and now my "test" calls home receive a thumbs up. I am not sure if their has been some tweaking in the background, I need to catch up with the IT guys and find out.

But the bottom line is call quality is great and I have really started to push video calls - It is funny how so much more personal and productive the calls are.
