When will the Windows SDK Feb CTP be live, anyway?
I'm going to try to post by the end of the day with our go-live date for the Feb CTP of the SDK. It's a big release for us and for me personally, since many improvements for Setup will be in this release. Unfortunately, the release date is still in some flux since there are some variables up in the air. This is one reason we try not to post our target live dates for interim builds. You never know what might happen. There might be problems with a code signing tool, or a build lab, or human error, or push from external teams. Shipping software is hard. I just hate the painful process of working through release management, with all its uncertainties and variables, and I'm really just watching from the sidelines while my coworker Melinda navigates the logistics of it.
I suppose it's easier for big products, since they have to have firm lines in the sand that their teams target. When you have dozens of people working to close features by a certain date, you can be pretty hard about that date. But a smaller product like an SDK can be affected by everything that happens around it, and we're in a constant struggle to decide which user's special request to accommodate and which extra bugfix we should try to get in at the last minute.
In any event I'll try to post an update once we know something more.

Good question. I'll ask around the team.
