Download stats
We're getting the first wave of download stats around the Feb CTP of the SDK. They're not great - per the report, only 37% of you who choose to download the ISO end up completing the download. At the same time, according to the report, you're choosing 9 to 1 to download the ISO instead of using the web setup. These numbers frankly seem wrong to me. It's been our sense for a long time that it would be more 2 to 1 in favor of using the web setup.
If you hit the download page and see the choice of running setup.exe or the ISO file, we recommend you use the setup.exe, simply because it allows you to choose your appropriate components up front, instead of having to download the full 1.2 GB package.
What's happening when you try to download and install the SDK? Do you use web setup or the ISO, and if you use the ISO, why? (We have a good sense of why users choose the web setup - at least we think so)
Please help us figure out what's going on!

I personally haven't downloaded the product mention but I would download a BIG ISO against web setup any day. Why?
Whatever I download, I test on a trial machine that can be cleaned at will. If I download the ISO, I'm confident I can re-install the app without having to redownload all the bits. - Anonymous

James, did your web download freeze at a certain point, when it got locked for 6 hours? I'm curious if there was something bad in your download queue. - Anonymous
