Windows Mobile MSDN Forums & a Kids Programming Language

Just a reminder in case you weren't aware, but MSDN hosts its own forums which include a healthy dose of Pocket PC and Smartphone discussion. If you're looking for an answer to a programming question, it's a great resource.

Amd while I have my blog editor running, I was just sent a link to Kid's Programming Language, which although not currently running on Windows Mobile, still looks very cool. If you have a would-be nerd in your house, you might be able to tempt them away from Instant Messenger and their MP3 player for a few moments with the promise of writing their own version of Grand Theft Auto (although hopefully one that doesn't need an adult rating).

Hi John!  KPL (Kid's Programming Language) running on Windows Mobile is a pretty cool idea, isn't it?  KPL games that you write running on your own SmartPhone, your PocketPC, your friends'...  Yep, cool idea.  I'm one of the KPL guys, btw.  :D

So it's cool - are you going to make it happen? :-)

Allowing a kid to write applications while in the back seat of a car on a Pocket PC would be awesome. And when I say "kid", I mean "me".
