If you look at the capabilities of SharePoint it can be pretty daunting - where do you start?

I've spoken to a lot of customers who think that in order to get benefit from SharePoint you need to deploy all of it, to everyone at the same time.

This isn't the case - and if you try to you're probably in for a long hard slog, with a lot of unhappy users and a long period before you show any return on investment. And by the time you have deployed it the world has probably changed dramatically from what the original system was designed for. And a new release has probably come and gone.

So just like an elephant, eat SharePoint one bite at a time.
