Update Microsoft Transporter Suite

Transporter Suite contains a set of tools for migrations from both Lotus Domino Servers, and generic IMAP/POP sources. For Lotus Domino the suite contains a set of tools for Directory and Free/Busy interoperability between Lotus Domino 6 or 7 and Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Server 2003 Active Directory. In addition for Lotus Domino the suite contains migration tools to migrate users, groups, personal address lists, mailboxes, personal mail archives, and applications from Lotus Domino 5, 6 or 7 to Active Directory, Exchange Server 2007, and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. For generic POP/IMAP servers the suite contains a set of tools to bulk migrate mailboxes from any generic email servers that support the POP3 or IMAP4 protocol to mailboxes in Exchange Server 2007

Hi, If the proxyaddresses attribute isn't in the schema then it sounds like Exchange isn't installed. see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb288907.aspx "The predefined Public Information property set in Active Directory contains attributes such as Proxy Addresses and Email Addresses"

What kind of permission is required in Active Directory? I spoke to one of my AD Experts and he said that there is "Attribute 'proxyaddresses' not found in the Active Directory schema " which is not defined in Transporter. Could you please suggest me on this?

You said "Exchange isn't installed.". It has to be installed on the same sharepoint server? which version of exchange is required? is it Microsoft exchange 2007 or 2003? Could you please tell me how to check whether Exchange is installed or not? Thanks for you help.

I think it's more likely to be an AD permission issue.

Hi, It looks like you may not have Exchange installed or it's a permissions problem. John

We don't run exchange in our environment. We are strictly using  Lotus Notes. I am trying to migrate only Application data from lotus notes to sharepoint 2007. Do i still need to install Exchange server? Is there any alternative way?

(Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) Error: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)) warning: Target list could not be found.
