Seminar Overview 

In today’s ever evolving business landscape successful organisations are those optimising the use of technology to create business agility and efficiency. This can be achieved by focusing IT to produce a unified, consolidated, flexible and reusable set of services in a SOA that will embody an organisation’s capability.

This briefing will illustrate how Business Process Management (BPM) coupled with an effective Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) and the use of Microsoft’s BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and MOSS 2007 can enable a highly efficient, innovative, agile and adaptive organisation.

Not only will we discuss the technologies but we will also provide real customer examples, insights and direction on how the business can understand why and what investment is needed to achieve this goal.

Session Schedule

The day will be split into six sessions: 

Session 1

Defining the BPM and SOA paradigms: will show how business success can be achieved by delivering a BPM solution on a Service Orientated Architecture

Session 2

Introduction to the capabilities of BizTalk Server 2006R2; Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Trading Partner Integration (TPI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Radio Frequency (RFID) illustrated with real customer examples

Session 3

A demonstration of BizTalk Server 2006 in action by Charles Young: Solidsoft BizTalk MVP (Microsoft Most Valued Professional)

Session 4

Introduction to the capabilities of MOSS 2007; Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Enterprise Search, Workflow and Business Forms, Business Intelligence (BI), Collaboration and Portals illustrated with real customer examples

Session 5

A demonstration of MOSS 2007 in action by Solidsoft consultants

Session 6
