Hacker Gains Root Access to Mac OS X in 30 Minutes
It took a hacker less than 30 minutes to gain root-level access to Mac OS X, according to a report from ZDNet. The hacker who penetrated the system called the Mac "easy pickings."

Not a very good example I think of security on Mac OS X. The person who put the site up gave them a local account, no information on if the system was hardened or using default settings, was running the client version and not the server version.
