It has nothing to do with one language being better than the other and NO Microsoft doesn’t prefer C#, Visual Basic will live forever. It’s simply that I was a C programmer foir years, the a C++ developer and a Java developer so a language with C ansestry is more natural for me.

What I love about the Murach’s books is they have the completeness of a textbook, with a practical perspective.

If you’re a Visual Basic person, this is every bit as good as their C# books. Put one on your desk !
