Talking with Jerry Weinstock of CRM Innovation about sending SMS messages with Dynamics CRM
During Convergence 2010 I spent a lot of time walking the expo hall to learn what our partners were building on our Dynamics products. I stopped by the CRM Innovation booth pictured here and discovered they now have a SMS addin for Dynamics CRM 4.0. Here are some key features of this product.
Text Messenger allows CRM users to send text messages (SMS) without per use fees.
- Send 1-to-1 texts to Contacts.
- Send a text to an entire marketing list.
- No third party messaging service provider required.
- No per use/monthly fees, messages are sent via Outlook.
- Text messages appear in the Contact's record History View.
CRM Innovation is certainly a Microsoft Partner that always suprises you. Their innovative products and use of technologies like Silverlight 4.0 means you just never know what they will release next.
