Random Hacks of Kindness: Geeks Giving Back

December 3-4th marks the fourth Global Random Hacks of Kindness event, and Boston as well as Manchester, New Hampshire, are each hosting one of the nearly 36 concurrent hackthons being held worldwide that weekend. The event brings together technologists and subject matter experts to identify and refine problem statements and to collaborate on solutions. Although RHoK has its origins in contributing open technology solutions to disaster recovery management, recently it has expanded its charter to other world community issues such as water quality and providing software solutions for children with autism.

Each site works on different problems of interest, and all skill sets are welcome.  I’ll be at the Boston event on Saturday, so hope to see you there!
