 Do you want to help make the world Speech-enabled? Microsoft Speech Server is doing just that by providing the best tools for developers of Speech applications around the world. The MSS Application Tuning Tools team needs a superstar Software Design Engineer in Test who loves data mining using SQL and UI automation using in house tools. Looking for a job that will stretch your capabilities and grow your skills? This is an automation-heavy team, building on a mature automation harness using .NET. In this position, you will be expected to design and implement excellent code to test your area, work closely with developers to find bugs as early in the development cycle as possible, and buddy with external customers who are using our cool new product.

The successful candidate will have a BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience and at least three years experience in software testing and/or development with proficiency in C# or C++; will be a detail-oriented self-starter and an excellent problem-solver as well as having an ability to work with other test engineers, developers and program managers. This individual should be familiar with industry-proven test methodologies and practices. Previous experience with SQL, UI testing, Voice UI development, or working on VS.NET tools is a major plus.
