Today is the first day of the rest of my life…

Today marks two important occasions… On this day, 17 years ago, I was hired by Microsoft as a support engineer, supporting MS-DOS 4.01, 5.0, Windows 3.0, and Windows 3.1 (the list goes on, so I won’t bore you <g>).  I have made many, many, life-long friends and owe it to a lot of people (especially my wife and family, as well as you, Kim, thanks man!).  It truly seems like I started just yesterday and I have not yet worked a day in the last 17 years here.  It’s just that fun.  The 2nd occasion for today is  it’s the last day in my current organization.  Tomorrow I start in a completely new organization as a Service Manager in the SharePoint Online-Dedicated group.  I am extremely excited and cannot wait to do good things there and make even more life-long friends.  Giddy-up!
