SYSK 91: Cool Trick -- Move an Entire Paragraph with a Key Stroke
The other day, I accidentally discovered an easy way to move a line (or number of selected lines) up or down in your Word document…
Say, you had a bullet point or a paragraph (or any other selected text) that you wanted to move up or down within a document. All you have to do is press Shift+Alt and then Up or Down Arrow (depending on whether you want to move it up or down). You don’t even have to select it first!
Try it for yourself. Pretty cool!

Very cool - which got me thinking about ALT's usage. Using ALT w/ your mouse, you can select ranges and copy/cut/paste/etc., the selection. I've seen this years before w/ other text editors, but not w/ word or visual studio. You may have already known that, but I didn't - now that's useful! - Anonymous

Good point Blake; I forgot this one. Remembered what the short-cut was but didn't use it; curious to know if I had a reason to?
