Cool Forms! Task Form

This week’s cool form was submitted by Sean Cantellay of Cantellay Consulting. The form allows the user to select a SharePoint task from the right and view it in the form on the page. The task has been broken up into four views and the tab buttons moves the user through the different views. The user can also Escalate the task to another SharePoint group by clicking the Escalate button and selecting the group.

Can we create this kind of tabbed interface for the standard list forms in SHarePoint 2010? Is there any samples for the wizard like (turbotax) forms where i can save partial data to list? Is it possible?

How powerful info path form 2010 is with respect to creating web 2.0 kind of UIs? I mean can we create gradients, glossy look etc. in info path forms? I had used it once (2007 version) when I discovered that we can not use gradients to color the shapes. Please let me know if you know any such link which demonstrates how to create 'WOW' looking UIs using info path forms 2010. You can email me at milindsom|at|gmail|dot|com. Thanks in Advance.

Can you explain what buttons are used in these forms?  Looks like std button with gradient background.  I have tried this but cannot get gradient.  Your assistance is appreciated.

Nice but really not much help.  Great to see others cool forms, much better if it was explained on how to achieve this. We want to be able to do it not just view it!

How is this achieved? Very frustrating for people trying to replicate this. :-(
