Do you know the way to RSA?

It's that time of year again, when a huge subset of the information security industry (vendors, pundits and practitioners) make their way to Northern California for the annual RSA Conference. 

I'm off to the airport in a few hours to make my way south to San Jose for what must be my 6th or 7th visit to this great conference.

I've launched products there, presented sessions and both delivered a keynote (RSA Conference Tokyo 2003) and wrote one for a Microsoft exec (Rich Kaplan's address to RSA Conference Europe 2004).

This year's event is a big one for Microsoft in the network security space. We plan on showing off a lot of cool stuff like Network Access Protection and BillG is kicking off the whole shebang with a keynote on Tuesday morning. His presentation will outline an industry vision for security and describes Microsoft’s efforts to shape a future that realizes the full potential of the interconnected world.

My goals for the event are three-fold:

• catch up with my friends from around the biz, 
• checkout what the hot topics are for infosec professionals, and
• help drive home Microsoft's growing number of solutions to help customers better manage and secure their enterprises.

Don't forget to stop by the Microsoft booth (#815) and say hello. We'll have a ton of expertise on the Expo floor to answer questions or whiteboard a potential solution.

Oh yeah, I promise I won't try and do my Dionne Warwick or Burt Bacharach impersonation singing "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?" with clever lyrics.
