Licensing

Always a confusing topic. GPL? Apache? What's the difference between MIT and BSD? Artistic?

The KDE folks have a nice page listing a dozen or so open source licenses, with *english* (read: layman) definitions regarding linking, distribution, redistribution of changes and GPL compatibility. The Ruby and MsPL licenses are missing, but otherwise a handy list to help make sense out of the license soup in today's landscape.
