If so, you might be the ideal candidate for the Senior Marketing Manager, IT Manager Audience position on the US BMO IT Professional Audience Marketing team. In this job, you’ll create and execute the strategy that connects IT Managers (Directors of IT, VP’s of IT, CIO’s) to Microsoft- with. This is a vibrant community of about 2M individuals in the US, tasked with keeping the country’s servers and desktops available, running, and offering the incredible value that software provides businesses. You will help define their profiles, their needs, and programs that help us connect with them, offer value to them, and ultimately satisfy them. You will determine the set of vehicles by which we connect with IT Managers, and will make strategic investments in the community. You will work with the

team to create one all-encompassing US sub strategy for IT Managers and will create strategies to scale your wins through these influencers.

The broader US IT Pro community numbers about 8.5M and this sub-segment is a key set of decision makers that affect not only our success as a company, but the success of the entire IT infrastructure of large, medium, and small businesses in the U.S. We are looking for a 10 point gain in net satisfaction across the IT Pro community- a very ambitious goal-and want the IT Manager strategy to be a key prong of the plan. With a successfully executed strategy, we can blow away those numbers and work to get 50% of IT Pros VERY satisfied with Microsoft over the next 18-24 months- a huge jump.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of marketing experience, preferably in a high-technology environment. A proven performer, with long-term vision, you’ll not only be responsible for creating a strategic plan, but also to execute it and to show large incremental gains in IT Manager Satisfaction. Customer-centricity is a must, as well as familiarity with web-based marketing vehicles.
