I just deleted a bunch of comments. Sorry, you guys. I was trying to approve comments and delete spam and I got the actions backward. If you left a comment and it didn't show up, feel free to leave it again. I could blame it on the heat, but really, it's just me.

  There is another interesting CS bug lurking which may mitigate some of your responsibility here -- if you check a bunch of things (say to approve) and then you uncheck them (because you decided to delete the spam first) , the DELETE operation will grab everything that you touched, not just what is currently checked.
