My friend Anne Manhart talks about MBA recruiting at Microsoft

Here. Businessweek wants your money if you want to see the full article.

I know at least one of you is going to look at Anne's picture and ask if everyone at Microsoft is good looking ; ) Not as pretty as Anne (she's going to kill me). Hee!

Did you get a promotion as I noticed "Microsoft. Heather Hamilton, a manager in Microsoft’s marketing and finance recruiting division" in the article?

I think they truncated "Staffing Programs Manager". I've been using that title for a while. I tend to use a descriptive title for external stuff and a more standardized title for internal stuff (Sourcing Programs Manager). Sourcing isn't necessarily a good term to use externally because outside of staffing, it can cause confusion. Anyway, you can be a manager here with or without direct reports. The more I go on about it the more confusing it seems.

Vague enough answer for ya? ; )
