  There’s a rumor going around the blogosphere that Microsoft’s board of directors and their senior management team have been under covert surveillance by a ‘team’ of corporate espionage ‘experts’ and that the results of the surveillance which includes taped private telephone conversations and bugged meetings and is supposed to be ‘highly incriminating’ (whatever that means) are going to be published in October.
  
  The company claiming to have publishing rights is some outfit called Blood & Treasure, Ltd. - www.bloodandtreasure.com
  
  A Blood & Treasure ‘representative’ under the name ‘Noel Guinane’ has been blogging about it on the management guru’s blogsite, Tom Peters (In Search of Excellence). The TP website is www.tompeters.com
  
  I think it is a disgrace that private conversations and meetings between senior business executives can be published and I seriously doubt the legality of it. What protection do any of us have if we allow the private actions of important business leaders to be laid bare for the whole world to gape at?
