To 64 Bit or Not

With the availability of 64-bit (x64) processors on the market now adays, I was thinking whether it even made sense to purchase a 32-bit processor.  As I look into the future (next 2 years or so), I'm thinking all new processors will be 64 bit (including the dual core ones) and it would probably make sense to start purchasing x64 systems now.

In my opinion, I would also like to see the OS and Applications go 64 bit and leave the 32 bit world behind.  I'm curious as to how everyone else feels?
