niehausI totally forgot to post about a super great guest speaker at the upcoming AZ Systems Management User Group (AZSMUG) Meeting this coming Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Microsoft office in Tempe from 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM. If anyone has used the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), then you may recognize the name, Michael Niehaus. Michael is the Senior Program Manager that has been responsible for this tool for quite a long time.

If there is anyone I want to hear talk about this tool, it is Michael Niehaus. He will be presenting at Microsoft Management Summit 2012 and Tech Ed 2012. If you are in the Phoenix area and won’t be able to make it to either of those upcoming conferences, you should definitely take advantage of this opportunity to hear from him for FREE!!

The topics for the meeting are:

The next version of the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) will be released soon! Learn about all the new features and enhancements in this version, including support for Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager; the ability to deploy to UEFI computers; integration with the DaRT tools; and much more.

Introducing the Application Approval Workflow solution accelerator
