GPLogView Source Project

The Group Policy team is happy to it has released the source code for the GPLogView utility. The Group Policy Log view tool  reports of all events for a particular policy processing cycle. It supports output formats of XML, HTML, and text and as the ability to parse exported logs from remote computers. Also, GPLogView provides a monitoring mode so you can view policy processing events as they occur. More information on how to use GPLogView is included in "Troubleshooting Group Policy Using Event Logs" available at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74139.

You can view, discuss, and contribute to this tool by loading https://www.codeplex.com/gplogview in your web browser. Codeplex is Microsoft's open source project hosting web site.

If tinkering with code isn't your game, no problem. You can get a fully functional version of the gpLogView direct from Microsoft. Download GPLogView from https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=75004
