Inform Me!
I'm rather new to blogging (in case you haven't noticed). This web site has “posts” and “articles”. What's the difference? Should any of my past posts been articles? Does anybody care?

Hi, Grant: "Articles" are simply long posts. I like to think of a post like an e-mail message (short and specific), and an article like a Web page (one screenful or longer). Posts are also more or less disposable, while articles contain useful information that others are likely to reference later. In my opinion, all of Chris Brumme's posts should be articles, while none of Scoble's should be. Does that help? ;-) - Anonymous

Blogging's personal. You canmake use of the articles functionality if you want, or not. Really it's there if you find out that you are the kind of blogger who wants to differentiate between "wow, here's a huge code sample post" and your normal stuff.
If all you do is small to medium length commentaries, tips, etc, then using the articles functionality is probably more pain than it's worth.
If, however, you do plan on mixing and matching it might be worth looking at :)
