Believe it or not, you can actually attend a technical conference, never go to any of the scheduled sessions, and still get an incredible amount of information, resources and contacts.

Now I'm not advocating that for the upcoming Tech-Ed you ditch all the sessions that your employer (or you!) paid good money for. I'm just saying that to expand your conference experience, take advantage of the ancillary stuff.
