My first non-Microsoft user group presentation - on IronPython
In my continuing efforts to broaden my horizons, I'm taking a leap of faith and presenting a session to a non-Microsoft-centric user group.
Join me this Thursday, March 8 at 7:30 at the meeting of the Atlanta Python Meetup Group where I'll be giving an introductory session on IronPython, a new implementation of the Python programming language running on .NET.
Fortunately part of this technology is in my comfort zone, such as the base class libraries of the .NET framework, although I'll be stretching myself a bit in learning yet another way to program in .NET outside of VB and C#. But hey, that's the fun of working with a technology that supports so many language options.
