Become "Identity Aware" and win!
Sounds like a spam email subject line, eh? But actually it's a reference to a contest being sponsored by the product group for Windows CardSpace.
Essentially if you add support for Information Cards (which Windows CardSpace allows users to select, manage and submit) to your web site, they want to hear about it. The creator(s) of the sites judged to have done this integration the best way (see the link for full rules) will win anything from a Zune to an XBOX 360 Elite to a paid trip to Redmond and dinner with members of the product team.
Check out the links to great resources on how to do it at Richard's blog, including this whitepaper on how to support Information Cards at your website.

> Essentially if you add support for Information Cards (which Windows CardSpace allows users to select, manage and submit) to your web site, they want to hear about it. A good start would be for Microsoft to have consistent identity management for their sites. For example, I need separate identities for forums on forums.microsoft.com, www.asp.net and codeplex.com.Anonymous

Joe, I hear you. Tackling identity issues on the Internet is something a lot of teams within Microsoft are coming together to work on, specifically (as you point out) among our various assets. Good news for many folks though is that the teams that implement Information Card support for those sites are ineligible for the contest! :)Anonymous

We hear you loud and clear! We're working to make your online experience with Microsoft much better, regardless of where you interact with us! :) In the meantime, we encourage you to join us and many others in taking steps to stamp out phishing and phraud and make the web safer and easier to use.
