To create an ALERT, simply execute a SEARCH QUERY and save it as an ALERT

You will get a configuration panel on your right – give it a name, schedule the time interval OMS checks for this ALERT, set a threshold to trigger the ALERT, indicate to send a NOTIFICATION and/or to execute a RUNBOOK from Azure Automation as remediation.
