Subject: (frankarr - an aussie microsoft blogger) : Vidcast of Vista on M400 tablet
Importance: HighHey Frank,
My name's Long and I'm an aussie blogger.
I just did a screencast of Windows Vista running on the Toshiba Portege M400 tablet PC. This is my second ever produced video, so I'm still getting into the whole video blogging business.
There's a few segments focusing on different cool features, and one dedicated especially to the tablet.
Check it out at https://www.istartedsomething.com/20060613/windows-vista-screencasts/
Hope you find it interesting.
Regards,
Long
I tried to have a look at the Vista screen casts yesterday, but the site was a bit sluggish.
Turns out Long had been on DIGG (606 Diggs as of writing this) and was on TechMeme all day too. But that's not all - ZDNET blogger Richard MacManus wrote an article about it too.
They guy is only 18, at UNI and he's getting a bunch of attention!!! Check out his traffic stats from yesterday! He has more over at his blog
I've never been on DIGG. Or on TechMeme.
Anyways, I finally got a chance to watch the screen casts, and they are great.
I used the Quicktime Alternative 1.70 codec pack, as I didn't have Quicktime installed.
The screencasts have been mirrored all over the place, so here's a set of links to them
