The New Computer - Dell Latitude D830
I got my new laptop the other day.
It's a Dell Latitude D830
The reviews are positive :
It has the best Windows Experience Index of all the machines I have had so far, which isn't saying much really,
I am pretty happy with this little fella, but I do miss my tablet.

interestingly enough my MacBook Pro 2.4 Core2Duo offers slightly higher figures under Vista: 5.3/ 4.8/ 5.9/ 5.4/ 5.2 respectivly I think alot of the performance in day to day use is down to the quality of the hardware drivers.Anonymous

I like D830's performance but what I dislike is size and weight. But you can't have everything. Tablet is cool too :>Anonymous

mate... any PC that ships with the right drivers is a find... Took me over 5 months to get my MSI L745 running vista 64 bit... Ultra... and guess what... now the keyboard sticks... grrrr... you can change up the graphics and really start to see some cool stuff in the platform... particularly if you are caching graphics off blogs...Anonymous
