'Rigo will be happy
My son 'Rigo has been bugging me for weeks. He's has been really eager to get his hands on Gears of War.
Well, I got a copy of it.
Do I take it home for him to play??

I see this as a lose-lose situation. If you don't, you are being cruel to the kids, but regardless you are being cruel to everyone else who has to wait until Thursday to get their hands on it. :) Happy birthday BTWAnonymous

I've had this since last Friday and it is indeed a blast to play. However, I have to say I am more addicted to Viva Pinata. :)Anonymous

The write-up on The Long Tail on GOW is not-so-complementary. Let us know if you agree or not. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TheLongTail/~3/51531640/gears_of_war_is.htmlAnonymous

I guess since you allready "got a copy of it", then you are judging this game by it's cover. What exactly does the cover have to do with the game? I don't see the graphic as being any different than the title. Gear (Gear) and War (Skull). Your son want's Gears of War. He'll find a way to get a game that he wants. So why don't you play it with him and let him know of anything that you have a problem with. Common ground is a wonderful place to start a conversation about what you don't like about that game.Anonymous

Mark I read the write up on TheLongTail. My 2 eldest sons are 15 and 13, so they are a bit older than Chris' son who is 9. We will get to play together on the weekendAnonymous
