Mashup Virtual Earth with Twitter and you get twitterearth

We're all mad about twitter at the moment - well I am anyways.

Inspired by the awesome Twittervision, I put out the challenge to some local developers.

The call was answered by the team at Genexis and they pulled together twitterearth. They attended the Sydney VE workshop on Monday afternoon and today they showed me their mashup.

Ok, so the app needs some tweaking and I am sure there are a bunch of features to be added, but IMHO it's not half bad.

    How awesome. So, have u flipped it to 3d mode yet? Love the way the earth spins around at every tweet. The power of one API for both the 3D and 2D maps!
