One Year Internship Opportunity

The overall purpose of the .Net Developer Intern position is to encourage the acquisition of technical, developer and testing skills with particular reference to Microsoft technology and solutions. You will assist in establishing Microsoft as a leading solutions provider, increase awareness of Microsoft technologies among stakeholders and assist the Microsoft team in achieving their strategic goals.

Your main activities will involve:

  • Learn and understand .NET technology
  • Assist with web and application development
  • Build internal applications
  • Develop and run automated test suites
  • Run up and install software on test systems
  • Manage the applications and build processes

Skills and Qualifications:
Are you someone who can articulate business issues and technical requirements for Microsoft Australia? An understanding of C#, VB, HTML, SQL Server and ASP principles is required; technically related work will be well regarded.

You will be familiar with contemporary project management methods and possess the technical ability to build servers using MS technologies and configure basic web sites.

You posses an outstanding academic record - at least high credits or distinctions. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and a degree in computing are also required to ensure your success in this role.
