Have you seen DreamScene?

Nick White has the news that Windows Ultimate Extra 'DreamScene' is available

Windows Vista Ultimate users may have noticed a nice little surprise today when checking for new Windows updates: the Ultimate Extras Team has released a Technical Preview for Windows DreamScene. You can get all the latest updates and information from the Ultimate Extras Team over at their Windows Ultimate site .

This Technical Preview currently includes a single DreamScene -- an animated version of Windows Vista's default wallpaper. You can of course expect more DreamScenes to become available in future releases of Ultimate Extras.

I've been running this on a different range of machines and the experience is pretty cool. It's even impressed my cynical teenager.

If you are a Windows Vista Ultimate have a look for that update.

I agree that it looks impressive, but I have to ask the question: What's the point? That may sound harsh, but most of the time you can't even see your desktop, and to have it slow your PC down for no reason just amazes me.  There must be some more worthwhile Ultimate extras on way... please?

I have two monitors and it refuses to run with my current video card... :( I guess it means that excuse to upgrade the graphics card has just come along :)
