Hello World!
Hello my name is Francesco Esposito and I am a relatively new hire here at Microsoft. I am a recent addition to the MACH (Microsoft Academy of College Hires) program. I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Management from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. Before joining the company I worked at Chrysler’s World Headquarters for about a year as a Business/Systems analyst in IT and for Royal Aluminum and Steel (the family business) as Director of Sales and Marketing. I am starting my career at Microsoft in Volume Licensing, as an SMS&P US-Central Associate Licensing Specialist.
The first question you might have is - so why are you throwing in your hat with the hundreds of other Microsoft bloggers? The simple answer is I think there is a lack of Microsoft employee blogs that share the experience of joining the company in Sales and Marketing and even fewer that shine some light on Microsoft's (in my opinion) awesome MACH college hire program. Additionally, I love technology and like everyone else here have an opinion about it that I would like to share with the world.
I am in the process of putting together some posts covering some of the great experiences I’ve had already, including a general overview of the MACH program, my Interview experience and The FY09 Microsoft Global Exchange (MGX FY09) and MACH Global Conference (MGC). Hopefully you all enjoy this look into the college hire experience and my time at Microsoft as I enjoy living it.
