Reset TCP/IP

clip_image002 How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

One of the components of the Internet connection on your computer is a built-in set of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or corrupted. If you cannot connect to the Internet and you have tried all other methods to resolve the problem, TCP/IP might be causing it.
Because TCP/IP is a core component of Windows, you cannot remove it. However, you can reset TCP/IP to its original state.

You create a new recurring appointment, meeting request, task, or task request in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. When you set the range of recurrence, the No end date option is always available. You cannot disable the No end date option for appointments, meeting requests, tasks, or task requests.

I have tried everything I can find to repair my internet connection, including the auto fix-it.  I  also replaced the ethernet card & same result, limited or no connectivity.  When I trt the repair I get message that it cannot repair due to renewing IP address.  I do not know what caused it. Thank you

'netsh int ip reset' is equivalent to: 'netsh int ipv4 reset' So what about: 'netsh int ipv6 reset' ? Should that command also be run?

I have "lost" my javascript within the last several months and cannot access information that requires javascript on many websites, etc.  What happened and what can I do to get it repaired or reinstalled?  I am not that computer savvy, but I don't think I did anything that would have caused it to disappear.  Can you help?
