Outlook 2007 prompts you repeatedly for a password under certain network conditions

INTRODUCTION
Under certain network conditions, Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 prompts you repeatedly for a password. If you do not enter a password or if you enter an incorrect password, Outlook 2007 may silently enter Offline mode. In this case, you do not receive an error message or a notification, and you will not be connected to the mailbox.

The hotfix didn't work. Afterwards, in the registry, I changed the value to 0 (it was 1). It hasn't helped. Any ideas?Anonymous

I too have the same problem,"Outlook 2007 prompts repeatedly for a password" and I did try the Hotfix but it didn't fix the problem. I hope some Microsoft person reads these and lets us all know what can be done to stop the annoying problem.Anonymous

so what you all are saying is we still don't know how to fix this? I am also still having the problem. It is time to get a MAC so tired of all the little issues with MS
