    Hi,
    As per my understanding, this pack contains the same rules from SQL Server 2000 pack and extra rules added for SQL Server 2005.
    Is the above statement correct?
    Let me know ASAP.

    We actually started the pack from the ground up as a lot of the changes made in SQL Server 2005 forced us to do that. So I would say its more than just a few extra rules <g> But you could look at it that way.

    So, now I can say that rules present in older SQL Server 2000 pack are different than the rules present in the new MOM pack for SQL Server 2000. Is that right?

    Question:  Will there be some way to exclude INSTANCES from a SQL server in a pending MP update? Garth
