So I'm heading out to TechEd in Barcelona tomorrow. We will be launching VSTO 2005 SE there and I'll try to blog while I'm there.
I'm participating in 3 sessions listed below.
Also, I think I just did the most geeky thing I've done for a while in preparing for this trip. I just reimaged my home machine to install Windows Vista on it and I haven't yet installed Office. My wife has this handy "packing checklist" in excel that I wanted to print, but I didn't have a copy of excel to open the file. So I e-mailed it to myself and used the cool new "Open as Web Page" feature for attachments in Outlook Web Access to print the spreadsheet.
Anyway, hopefully I'll remember to pack everything I need and I'll see you at some of the sessions below.

Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the Microsoft Office System (VSTO) is the default toolset for building Office solutions in managed code. VSTO provides a RAD experience for the developer, and a robust secure runtime environment for your solution to run in. The design of VSTO addresses all the significant pitfalls of building managed code solutions for Office. VSTO also brings together the rich feature set of the .NET Framework and base class library with the familiar functionality of Office applications. This whole day pre-conference event gives you a comprehensive introduction to Office client development using the VSTO 2005 release. You will learn how to create custom solutions based on Microsoft Office System 2003 and the .NET Framework.
