BT Applications Market Place is now live! This is now open for pre-registrations for selected ISV partners prior to the public launch by BT Business and Microsoft next Wednesday 25th April.
What is BT announcing?
This is a great day for BT and Microsoft‘s ISV partners. It is a key milestone in BT’s vision to deliver Value Added Services to 500,000 Small Business Broadband customers in the UK. With BT Applications Marketplace, Microsoft is making available to our ISV’s delivering ‘best of breed’ solutions as Software-as-a-Service, a profitable new route-to-market:

As a much valued Microsoft ISV SaaS Partner, we would very much like you to be one of the first Partners to pre-register on the BT applications Marketplace and take maximum advantage of the press coverage planned for the launch on 25th April.

BT Applications Marketplace gives independent software vendors (ISVs) a quick and effective way to distribute applications to a fast growing audience of on-demand subscribers. Joining also lets you interact and exchange with your peers.
BT has over 500,000 SME broadband customers; customers who are increasingly interested in adopting software-as-a-service: BT Applications Marketplace is a great way to get your apps in front of this key market, letting you promote your services within an online marketplace that BT will market to its SME customers.
BT Applications Marketplace is for you if you have developed a SaaS-enabled application to the point where you want to do a market test or to start promoting a complete and tested service. To be a partner within BT Applications Marketplace you will need to have a stable application that you host and support.
Signing up to BT Applications Marketplace allows you quickly build a ‘tradespace’ – a sales site that will let you advertise applications within the Marketplace. The built-in rating and comment features allow you to receive feedback
