Searching for Closed Cases using Resolution field on the Resolve Case Web page dialogue in CRM 4 using Advanced Find
When a case is closed in CRM application, one needs to complete the below form. Once this is done a case is archived.
You can use Advanced Find feature within CRM application to look for all the closed cases with a particular work within the Resolution field.
Click on the Advanced Find button on the MSCRM application
Under the “Look For” drop down menu Select Cases
Within the body, click on the select drop down and Choose Case Resolutions (Case)
And then Select the following fields:
Subject | Contains
(this should look like the below advanced find)
This should fetch you all the cases closed with a resolution field containing the word IIS.
Thanks and Regards

Hi, This is really good, but if I want to see when the Case was resolved I need to go into each case to find it. I'm having real problems adding the Case Resolution date to my advanced find so that it shows in the results. I'm adding the Modifiedon date, but surely there must be a better way? Thanks
