The InfoPath / Forms Services chapter is complete.
Another book update. Susie Adams (my co-author) has completed the InfoPath/Forms Services chapter. I've updated the TOC (https://blogs.msdn.com/edhild/pages/pro-sharepoint-solution-development-combining-net-sharepoint-and-office-2007.aspx). The chapter is currently called "Design a Form: Use it Offline, Online, and in a Custom Application". The chapter focuses on the different ways you can reuse a form by designing it with InfoPath and publishing to forms services in MOSS. In the solution, the form is capabile of being completed offline using the InfoPath client as well as online using only the browser. The solution also shows you how to reuse the forms services capability in your own ASP.NET application and web part. This flexibility combined with the ease at which forms can be created in InfoPath creates a compelling story for the developer. In the solution, time is also taken to highlight the different techniques for connecting to data sources and the security concerns in doing so.
