Forefront UAG Beta is Coming to Town
More than a year ago, we have announced the successor of IAG - Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG). For this entire period, our team was heads down in making this happen (and to have an excuse for not blogging extensively about IAG :-) ). It’s been a long journey and we are very proud to present the result to you, our customers and community. In just a couple of weeks you will be able to join our excitement and dig in deep into the new UAG, when it reaches its public beta.
We can’t wait to show you all the new features and capabilities! Meanwhile, over the coming weeks we will use this blog to share with you the story of UAG: new features, behind the scenes and in-deep discussions. To start the celebrations, we are changing the name and look of this blog.
Stay tuned…
Oleg Ananiev,
Group Program Manager, UAG Team

We have been testing IAG2007 for Sharepoint apps. We have encountered a very strange problem where all but one sharepoint application would allow its document to be edited in Office. All of the other apps shows documents in Office as Read Only when you try to edit them. The even stranger behaviour is that this one sharepoint application that works would only work when it is in a particular trunk. When this application is placed on a different trunk, we get a similar problem the where when you try to save you see a message "Unable to connect to web server" or document shows its in read only status. Please can you advise on this. many thanks
