Announcing Compatibility Certification of SQL Server 2008 SP2 with Dynamics AX

Dynamics AX Sustained Engineering Team has successfully completed the following compatibility certification for the new release of the following external stack component:

 

Microsoft Product	Dynamics AX Version
SQL Server 2008 SP2	Dynamics AX 4.0 SP2 and Dynamics AX 2009 SP1(32 and 64 bit mode)

Compatibility certification is currently underway for the following products on select Dynamics AX versions.

Microsoft Product	Dynamics AX Version
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1	Dynamics AX 4.0 SP2 and Dynamics AX 2009 SP1
Windows 7 Sp1	Dynamics AX 4.0 SP2 and Dynamics AX 2009 SP1
Biz Talk 2010	Dynamics AX 2009 SP1
Internet Explorer 9	Dynamics AX 2009 SP1
Team Foundation Server 2010	Dynamics AX 2009 SP1

  Is it possible to run SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 with Dynamics AX 4 SP2?

  The last announcement was on 11 May 2011 - almost a year ago. is there any update on question from balmukund, asked 4 months ago?   What IS the latest compatability with Dynamics Ax 2009 please?
