Linking one report to another in Management Reporter

There may be times that you want to include a value from one report on another report.   This could be you want net income from your income statement to be on your balance sheet or you want detailed reports to drive a summary report. In either case, Management Reporter provides a way to link these reports together by using the Link to Financial Dimension + Worksheet column in the row definition.

Check out the video below to see how to link to one report to another in Management Reporter.

This is a great video, but I am having problems when trying to use this.  First off, I follow your instructions and I cannot even get my YTD Income to show up in my balance sheet.  Are there any steps for debugging this?  When it generates the report with links, where is the linked report exported to? Thanks in advance

I'm struggling to replicate this also.  Maybe because I'm trying to link to a report with a tree?   Also in the syntax in the link to Financial Dimentions+ worksheet column does the B in @Wks(B=D255) refer to column B? If not what does it mean? If I want this row value in all columns what is the correct syntax for that?

Hi, It's working fine if the Report "Detail Level" option is either "Financial" or "Financial & Account". It's not working if we give the option as "Financial, Account & Transaction". Is it a bug?
