Demo Reports for Management Reporter

Did you know that demo reports are available for Management Reporter? These demo reports have been developed specifically for each Microsoft Dynamics ERP.

This means that you can use these reports to:

1. Provide demonstrations with existing sample companies

2. Get ideas and samples for more difficult types of reports, such as a cash flow statement

3. Develop a baseline set of financial statements and other reports for your company

The demo reports will be linked to from the CustomerSource Installs and Service Pack page from the top Overview section. Otherwise, direct links to these reports are here:

* Be sure to read any notes that may have you verify that your accounts or dimensions use a specific naming convention in order to see the account numbers within the report.

    But where are the AX demo reports? There is a document saying how to connect to the demo company but no reports to use so it is completely useless. AX 2012 has been out for a couple of months now so there is simply no excuse for there not being any demo reports. This is a massive issue in AX 2012 as the financial reporting in AX 2012 is simply attrocious. Regards, Geoff Walker

We typically highlight documentation and resources on the Partner/CustomerSource download page for Management Reporter (mbs.microsoft.com/.../mroverview.htm) From here there is a link to SL demo reports (mbs.microsoft.com/.../MSDSL7MgmtReport_Howto.htm) and both AX2009 and AX2012 are on the same page (mbs.microsoft.com/.../MSDYN_HowToMRDemoAX2009_en)
