Issues with Basic Authentication in Visual Studio Online since March 18, 2014 update

We've updated our password complexity requirements for Visual Studio Online alternate credentials. These passwords must now have at least 8 characters and contain at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. If you're experiencing issues with apps\tools\IDEs that use Visual Studio Online alternate credentials, please update your passwords to meet these new requirements and retry.
