PDC 2009 Registration Starts
The 2009 Professional Developers Conference will be held this year from Tuesday November 17th to Thursday November 19th, located again at the Los Angeles convention center. A pre-conference workshop day happens ahead of time on Monday. Workshops are a more in-depth look at particular technologies while the main conference is built around breakout sessions and keynote presentations.
The scheduled workshops are:
- Getting the most out of Silverlight 3 by Richard Griffin and Ian Griffiths
- Patterns of Parallel Programming by Richard Ciapala, Ade Miller, Herb Sutter, and Stephen Toub
- Developing Quality Software using Visual Studio Team System 2010 by Todd Girvin and Chris Tullier
- Architecting and Developing for Windows Azure by Chris Auld
- Developing Microsoft BI Applications- The How and The Why by Andrew Brust and Don Demsak
- Microsoft Technology Roadmap by Michele Leroux Bustamante
- Software in the Energy Economy by Juval Lowy
The schedule for the rest of the sessions is completely fictional. If you're signing up now it's because you know you want to attend regardless of who's saying what. A reasonably accurate list of sessions generally starts shaping up closer to the event.
